Midweek glamping with the ones you love
Midweek glamping is something that many people wouldn’t consider. We base our lives around work or school in the week and fun at the weekend. Weekends are often busy, with attractions more expensive and crowded.Plus there are only 2 days to fit everything in! Speaking from experience we know that a glamping break mid week can be the perfect opportunity to stop and relax, spend some time with the ones you love and make the most of your week.
Plush Tents has everything you need to spend the night, get up in the morning and get on with your day so its easier than you think. You just need to pack clothes for the next day, your wash bag and your breakfast. Our shower blocks are just like home, with fluffy towels and hot water for everyone to clean up their act, brush their teeth and look smart for school or the office. For babies and toddlers ask about our bath trug. Plenty of fun for them and the most wonderful memories for you all as you watch them merrily splash under the trees or next to the wood burning stove.
For those of you who are freelancers, life is so much more flexible, allowing you the freedom to work whereever and whenever you like. Why not Hot Desk in Chichester, taking time out for lunch at Bills or Field & Fork, before coming over to Plush Tents for the late afternoon. Unwind in the hot tub, swing in a hammock and watch the stars come out from one of our star gazing chairs.
After a comfortable, cosy night under Egyptian cotton sheets, lie in bed for a while and listen to the birds tweeting and the wind in the trees before making yourself a coffee or tea on your own gas stove. Everything for cooking and eating is provided including crockery if you want to bring yourself some granola or eggs for breakfast. For a more decedent start one of our Field and Fork hampers can be enjoyed under the trees before you get dressed and ready for a new day.
The beauty of living outside is that you start to reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world where life is ruled by the daylight hours. Summer allows us some wonderful time in the evening and the morning to just enjoy being in the moment. Being inside we sometimes forget to make the most of the most of different seasons. Use this opportunity off grid to unplug from your devices (we can charge them for you for when you leave) and take in your surroundings. Have a conversation, play a board game or prepare some food to cook over the fire.
There are so many lovely walks near by and great cafes and pubs for a meal. We reccomend a stroll to Kingly Vale where you can see 500 year old Yew tress, followed by brunch at Wellies cafe, or a wander down to our local pub the Horse and Groom. Chichester is close by so for those of you who want to take the train to and from our venue we are just a short taxi ride away.
Go on. Treat yourself to a mid week glamping break and start living again.
