Guests may check in to tents from 2pm on date of arrival. Check out is by 11am on date of departure. It’s no problem if you need to arrive earlier than 2pm on, please just email us in advance so we know to expect you. Your tents may not be ready until 2pm but you can still use our facilities.
We have 2 reliably hot, gas-powered showers on the campsite, one at each end of the campsite. There are 3 flushing toilets & 2 composting toilets on the campsite.
Guests are welcome to enjoy our 8-12 seater wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub is a communal area and therefore guests are asked to shower before getting in. Smoking and drinking are not permitted inside the hot tub and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Guests are advised to refer to our terms and read through the safety information before using the hot tub. If you decide to use the hot tub, you do so at your own risk and the owners cannot accept responsibility for health problems that result from its use.
Water butts are provided with each tent. There are 3 drinking water points on the campsite.
Please do not operate camping stoves inside the tents. We have provisioned a double gas burner on a work bench outside each tent for preparing food, etc.
We have a large trunk inside all tents that has a kettle, tea pot, cafetiere, tea, coffee, sugar, milk jiggers, 4 x large plates, 4 x mugs, 2 x wine glasses, 4 x plastic cups, water carafe, cutlery, 2 x sauce pans, 1 x frying pan, 2 x chopping boards, BBQ tongs, a spatula, ladle and washing up bowl.
We also have knives and additional cooking items in the mess tent kitchen.
Please note if you would like to bring your own we would prefer it if you would avoid bringing glass onsite.
Our delicious hampers are provided by local caterers Field & Fork. When making a booking please confirm the date and time when you wish to receive your hamper(s). Hamper bookings are refundable up to 48hrs before, non refundable after that time.
We have a communal kitchen tent complete with washing up area, two ring gas hob, cooking pots and pans, utensils, plates, cutlery, and large cool box (please bring your own ice). We can also offer catering for large groups, for our menus please email us.
We have no fridges on the campsite because we are off-grid and have no mains power. We do have a large 2m long cool-box which can be cooled with ice and is suitable for keeping drinks cool. During our busy times we would recommend you bring your own cool box as ours can get very full.
The campsite has a large central fire pit, with benches all around, so you can enjoy an outdoor fire safely. We do not permit guests to make other fires around the campsite.
Each tent comes with its own barbecue. We also have a large gas barbecue and a large charcoal barbecue available for guests to use.
We can assist with transport to and from the local train station and nearby Goodwood Estate. Please contact us to arrange this.
You will be able to park your car off road at the entrance to the campsite. Parking is situated 200 yards from the tents. If you need assistance taking your luggage to and from your tent, please speak to a member of our team who will be more than happy to help.
Our campsite is away from main roads, out of sight of passers-by. One of our team is always on site. We can provide padlocks to lock your tents while you are out. The entrance is locked at night so if you plan on arriving after dark, please call ahead to arrange access.
We welcome dogs. Dogs must be properly supervised at all times, must not be dangerous and must not cause a nuisance or threat to anyone. No dog should be left unsupervised on the campsite. We expect all owners to be responsible and clean up after their dog. As there are livestock on the Farm and therefore you may be asked to keep your dog on a lead.
