We’re proud to be able to offer an inspiring away day or meeting venue. As well as a wide variety of team building activities and overnight accommodation.
Our glamping site offers the perfect break from a busy working environment. Situated in a beautiful woodland copse and in close proximity to a stunning nature reserve and sandy beaches, we’re as far as you can get from workplace stress!
We’re based a short distance from Chichester and within easy reach of London and can accommodate groups of any size up to 150. Every team is different and, with that in mind, we’ve worked alongside partners to offer activities for different tastes – from chilled-out group sessions to fast-paced team activities.
There are also several larger-scale action-based activities at nearby Goodwood.
If you’re looking for an overnight team-building event, our glamping site has even more to offer. As well as accommodation, we have facilities including a communal bonfire, bandstand, picnic tables, hammocks and a hot tub. We also have barbecues available and can arrange for food to be provided; including luxury breakfast hampers from our partners Field & Fork.
Hiring Plush Tents for your away day means that you and your guests will have exclusive access to our glamping site for the duration of your stay – including all accommodation and facilities.
30ft Large Mongolian Yurt – Capacity 117 standing, up to 60 seated.
Accommodation for 59 guests included in the fee. We also have the option to build additional tents on top of this in an adjacent field, max 152 people.
Communal Evening Bonfire: A large complimentary bonfire in the evening, surrounded by benches, so you and your guests can relax in comfort and enjoy the evening outdoors.
Hot tub: Guests are welcome to enjoy our 8-12 seater wood-fired hot tub, but please bring your own towels.
Barbecues: Most tents have their own charcoal BBQ but we also have two large gas and charcoal barbecues available for guests to use. A large 4 x burner gas barbecue and a large charcoal barbecue for which you may bring your own coal or we sell onsite. We have basic barbecue tools for guests to borrow.
Mess Tent Kitchen: complete with 2 ring gas hob, pots and pans, cutlery and plates, table and chairs, a giant cool box (ICE – NOT ELECTRIC as we are off the mains-grid, running on solar power) and a communal sink and draining board is situated near the bandstand.
Natural Play area: With den building, mud kitchen, indoor cinema tent, tree house, tipi with beanbags. Games, toys and books.
All of the tents have a double bed but we can add additional single sofa beds with bedding included (duvet, pillows, cotton bed linen, fleece blanket).
7 x Mongolian Yurts:
They are simply gorgeous and once inside, feel solid, sumptuous and welcoming. Each yurt has 1 double hand carved full size oak bed and we can add three more single sofa beds. All yurts come with duvet, pillows, cotton bed linen, fleece blanket, a unique hand-painted table with two chairs, natural coir flooring with a large rug and sheepskins. Beautiful drapes in either red, green or white. An antique wood-burning stove with an evening’s supply of wood. A hamper to make tea & coffee. And you can create your mood with our changeable LED lighting then lie back and relax to your music through the stereo. Each yurt has its own barbecue and a picnic table.
1 x Lotus Belle Tent:
Lotus Belle has a futon based double memory foam mattress bed and two additional single sofa beds. All with bedding (duvet, pillows, cotton bed linen, fleece blanket). The Lotus belle comes equipped with natural coir flooring, coffee table, torch and a beautiful little antique wood burning stove. It has its own barbecue and a picnic table.
4 x 5 Meter Bell Tent:
The 5 meter bell tent has a futon based double memory foam mattress bed and up to three single sofa beds. All with bedding (duvet, pillows, cotton bed linen, fleece blanket). The bell tent comes equipped with natural coir flooring, coffee table, torch and a hamper with tea & coffee. Each 5 meter Bell has its own barbecue and a picnic table.

South Downs offers a really excellent variety of cycling routes, check out the cyclists guide for more details.
• Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve, including the oldest Yew forest in England and an Iron age Burial Mound. Once at the top of the hill you can see far out to sea and to Chichester in one direction and to the rolling South downs in the other. This walk takes 1hr 30 mins and is an easy level of difficulty.
• Fishbourne Roman Palace and gardens is the largest Roman home in Britain. A great place to explore with the children.
• Stanstead Park Country House hosts events from March and even has a miniature light railway which is loads of fun for the children.
• West Witterings sandy beach has been a favourite family destination for generations. For more details click this link.
• The historic City of Chichester is a great place to wander, eat and shop. There is a farmer’s market every 1st & 3rd Friday of the month. Chichester Cathedral is a great place to visit, with lunchtime concerts, free events and art exhibitions and the splendid Bishop’s Gardens, which offer a beautiful setting for a picnic.

I wanted to organise an away day with a difference for one of my business area’s in ITV. I had a few idea’s in my mind – outdoors, back to nature and wellbeing, and so a holistic wellness away day was born and Plush Tents were more than happy to accommodate us. From the moment I contacted Louise from Plush Tents there was no problem too big or too small and they bent over backwards to help us organise the amazing event it turned out to be! Everyone was absolutely thrilled to stay overnight in the yurts and tipi’s and for some it was a very new experience. Louise and the team were on hand for every minute of the two days helping out and ensuring that everyone had everything they needed. They went above and beyond before, during and after the event and made sure everyone left happy.
